I honestly wondered if I had already gotten too ridiculous for this scammer. I mean, aside from them, who uses the word “beloved” with somebody they have never met? In fact, who uses that word in normal conversation? I quickly learned that this scammer would believe almost anything I told them. And I was prepared to play that hand all the way through.
