Dear Stephen James,
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing day in the UK. I have to admit; it's been a tough Thanksgiving. As I told you before, my dog, Howie, was about all I had left in the world. On Thanksgiving, he and I would eat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and vodka all day, and of course, watch the Cowboys and Lions football games. Doing that by myself seems strange this year - I have pretty much skipped the turkey, stuffing, and potatoes, and just moved straight to the vodka. Will this get better?
Thanks for your explanation of the London trip concerns you have, but we are in luck - I am actually a dual citizen of both the US and UK, so I am exempt from the Non Residence fee from the British Government. Plus, I could really use a Harrod's trip, and I'm fresh out of Twinings tea. So this works perfectly. Where is your office located? | have frequent flyer miles with British Airways to use up before the end of next year, so that's not a problem either. Depending on where your office is, I know a great pub right near Gloucester Station. Perhaps a celebratory drink after our ceremony? I will have to locate my passports - I think they are in my safety deposit box at the bank.
Another question - you mentioned a Christina Rose in your previous email. That's nota name I am familiar with. Are we bringing somebody else into the equation?
Thanks, Stephen.

Additional Thoughts:
At this point I am determined to get Stephen’s blessing for the London trip. I am pulling out all the stops here to make it super easy for me to visit. And, what Thanksgiving is complete without Stephen?
